James Steele is heard daily on National Public Radio with the Washington Saxophone Quartet,
playing the themes for All Things Considered.
James started soloing in church at age 16, graduated in music from the Univ. of Minnesota, holds a Master's and was accepted in The United States Army Band, Washington, DC. After leaving the band, he was invited to join the Washington Saxophone Quartet in 1981, which has offered opportunities for national and international travel as well as a variety of serving in schools, colleges, and churches.
Playing in his own church over many years has motivated him to seek suitable arrangements for worship. He actively invites suggestions from others.
You can email James_Steele@cox.net with questions, CD requests, or ideas for hosting at your church or event.
